Fishing Report for Sept 9, 2010

The silvers continue to fill the rivers here in huge numbers.  Dolly Varden in the two to three pound range are easily caught just 100 feet below any major salmon spawning reds. The most interesting fish caught lately are the several 24 inch rainbows that call the bank directly below the lodge home.  Fat and feisty after a summer's worth of salmon bits and pieces these huge rainbows have made for some long evenings fishing the bank after dinner.
