Fishing Report for August 5, 2010

The coho salmon have arrived. We caught several today with the biggest going 14 pounds caught by Josh Heinz of New York. Silvers on a fly rod are huge fun and we landed several on a Katumn Lodge fly we call the whopper stopper. The others were caught on bait casters and spinners. There are lots of rainbows and dollies here feeding on salmon eggs so the action is hot. We landed 2 chum salmon as well. Kyle Josselyn from Vermont caught a personal record rainbow that measured 21 inches. It was a fun day for all.
